GO BECKWITH ROAN
GO BECKWITH ROAN, "Sycamore", is a 1992 red roan stallion that stands 15.2 hands and 1250
pounds. He is an own son of the late Beckwith Dun, who sired the 1991 fourth place
finishing team in the AQHA World Team Penning. The Beckwith Duns are known for being
great ranch and arena horses with natural cow and athletic ability. His get are also
proven halter futurity winners. The Tiny Watch gives GO BECKWITH ROAN all the speed
you need.
I rode "Sycamore" as a two and three year old and did everything on him from
sorting cows at calving to roping at brandings. He has a running walk and naturally
takes to a cow. He, too, is quiet and easy to be around. Like our stallion, Poco Ima
Doc, GO BECKWITH ROAN winters out with the ranch geldings.
We sold GO BECKWITH ROAN in our seventh annual sale to Mike Haff (Brein, North Dakota).
"Sycamore's" greatest compliment comes from people that are riding and using
his colts. He gives them his great mind, being easy to train, yet very cowy and
athletic. Every one who owns one is proud of him or her.
