POCO DOC DE ORO
A 1984 Buckskin stallion that stands 14.3 hands and weighs 1230 pounds. He is a
grandson of Poco Bueno and Docs Adonis. Docs Adonis's mother Collins Daisy, was the
only Jessie James mare ever to be bred to Doc Bar.
"De Oro" is a trained cutting and calf roping horse and was used extensively
as a rope horse in his younger years. He took several youth to the National High
School Rodeo Finals. De Oro has excellent bone, feet and explosive speed.
We purchased "De Oro" to intensify our Poco Bueno blood. His colts have far
exceeded our expectations. POCO DOC DE ORO was solid in our eighth annual sale to Mike Smith (Canyon, Texas). De Oro blood will be carried on in our program by the large number of daughters we have retained for the broodmare band. |
