POCO IMA DOC is a 1988 Brown stallion. I cannot say enough about this grandson of Poco Bueno and Doc's Prescription. I have ridden "Poco" on the ranch gathering and sorting cattle. He is so easy-going he rides like a gelding. When he is not with the mares he runs and winters out with the ranch geldings. AQHA and NCHA champions fill his pedigree. His colts have just come into their own and they are outstanding rope and cow horses. "Poco's" colts have good bone, withers and that trainable mind. He stamps his colts with a perfect head, clean neck and sloping shoulder. We are riding several on the ranch and they are everything we could want. Their calm disposition and "eat'em up cow sense" make them a pleasure to ride. His daughters are proving to be exceptional broodmares. Twice Poco daughters have produced our high selling weanling and it was a Poco daughter that is the mother of Weavers Poco Heaven who was 7th in the nation in NRCHA Limited Open Futurity for all three year olds in 2003. They are without a doubt some of our very best young mares. They are good mothers and excellent milkers passing along those Poco Ima Doc traits that are coveted by those that own one. Poco Ima Doc's offspring are eligible for the Montana Reined Cow Horse Futurity. |
